School Building
Bankhead Primary is a one storey traditional red brick building constructed in 1930. A new wing was opened in 1960, replacing part of the school damaged in the Second World War in the Clydebank Blitz. The school has 17 teaching areas and a general purpose room/library. There is also an assembly hall with stage, a gymnasium, an ICT Suite and a dining hall with cooking facilities.
