Your Child’s First Day at School
We hope you have all had a wonderful summer and we cannot wait to welcome you to school on your first day!
Your child will start school on Wednesday 14th August.
On the first day, please bring your child to school at 9:30am sharp.* Please enter the building by the main entrance on Caldwell Avenue where staff will be available to meet you.
Children will go to the assembly hall and will sit on benches.
You are welcome to bring close relatives on this day, and are invited to take photos in the assembly hall/playground, although we ask that you do this before 9:30am. Parents wishing to take photos of their child in their class are welcome to do this from 2:45pm. We ask that on the first day, parents do not come into the classes in the morning. As you will appreciate, some children find their first day a little scary and our priority is to ensure that all children are settled as quickly as possible.
Children can be collected from their classrooms at 2:45pm*the first week.
*Every day thereafter, pupils must come to school for 9am and line up outside in the playground.
** Pupils should arrive/leave via Gate 1 Broadlie Drive from Thursday 15th August.
*Pupils will leave at 3.00pm from Monday 19th August
