Free School Meals

All children in P1-P4 will receive a free school meal without the need for application.

Breakfast Club

If your child is in P1-4 and you require breakfast club and you are in receipt of an eligible benefit for free school meals, you should apply for a free school meals online from the Glasgow City Council Website, or you can print out or request a paper form from the school office and submit via post. If your child is not on the free school meals list, you will have to pay for Breakfast Club as normal.

Pupils P5 & upwards:

New applicants - For more information, eligibility requirements and to apply, please visit the Glasgow City Council's Clothing Grants & Free School Meals page on the Glasgow City Council Website.

You can apply online from the Glasgow City Council Website, or you can print out or request a paper form from the school office and submit via post.

Automatic Entitlement

Existing Applicants - If your child was in receipt of free school meals in the last school year and your circumstances have not changed and continue to meet the eligibility criteria, the meals will automatically continue and you do not need to complete and submit a new application form. This only applies to pupils who have previously filled out applications for free meal grant entitlement; this does not include the free meal automatically received for being in P1-P4.

Letter - Request for proof of eligible benefits

Existing Applicants - If your circumstances have changed, you will receive a letter from Glasgow City Council requesting proof of eligible benefit.  Failure to supply proof of eligibility will result in the removal of free school meals.
