Letter to Parents - Glow, Google Classroom and other important info

Tuesday 28th April 2020

Dear Parents/Carers,

We hope you are staying safe and enjoying the sunshine as best you can.

As usual this week we have uploaded new sets of work for your child/children and encourage you to include breaks and time to play, be active and relax. Please continue to look after your family’s health and wellbeing during these challenging times. You are doing an incredible job.

If you prefer to have paper copies of the home learning packs, please respond to the text which will be sent to you today with your name, your child(ren)’s name(s) and their class(es). Thank you.

Glow & Google Classroom

We have been working hard to upgrade our remote learning to support our families during this unusual time. We will be using Glow logins to access a range of resources to help communication and learning while the schools are closed. Glow is an online platform which allows access to tools and services to help share teaching and learning materials and activities as well as providing ways of collaborative learning, design and creative experiences. The best way to log in to Glow and Google Classroom is through the Google Chrome browser if you are using a laptop or a PC. Glow can also be logged in through Xbox & PS4s and smart phones. Find out more about Glow here:

Our pupils will receive their Glow login Details this week

This will allow them to access a range of resources to support their learning.

Please keep this login handy as it will also help pupils access Google Classroom.

Our admin staff will message you this directly via the Xpressions app. If you do not have Xpressions, you will receive the details by text message. If the school does not have your current e-mail address or mobile number, please click here and complete the form to receive your child’s log-in details.
